The Hindu is an English broadsheet daily newspaper headquartered at Chennai. As of March 2018, it is published from 21 locations across 11 states: Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Thiruvananthapuram, Vijayawada, Kolkata, Mumbai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Noida, Visakhapatnam, Kochi, Mangaluru, Tiruchirappalli, Hubballi, Mohali, Allahabad, Kozhikode, Lucknow, Cuttack, Patna and Tirupati having a daily circulation of 1,216,118 (as of Janâ€“Jun 2017) according to the Audit Bureau of Circulations.
In all editions, advertising include classified, classified display and display ads. While advertising can be carried every day, there are some focus days that attract more attention. Matrimonial classified ads only are on Sundays, Property classified ads in the Saturday Habitat supplement, Recruitment ads in the Wednesday Empower supplement and Education ads in the Education Plus supplement. Options to place other categories of ads are available in all other supplements as well as the main paper.
