Hindustan Times as an advertising medium
Hindustan Times (HT) is an English broadsheet daily newspaper founded in 1924 with roots in the Indian independence movement of the period and was inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi. Today it has a daily circulation of 993,645 copies as of November 2017, according to the audit Bureau of Circulations and is the choice for nearly 3.7 million readers across India.
Hindustan Times provides three forms of advertising: Display, Classified Display and Classifieds every day. However, it is better to publish ads on focus days – like Sunday for matrimonial ads, Saturday and Sunday in HT Estates for property ads, on Tuesdays in Shine Jobs for recruitment (jobs) ads, on Mondays in HT Education for academic and educational ads and the rest of the week for all other kinds of ads like obituary, remembrance, business, public notice etc. Headquartered in Delhi, it is also simultaneously published in Mumbai, Kolkata, Lucknow, Patna, Ranchi and Chandigarh, making it the second most widely read English newspaper in India and revealed by The Indian Readership Survey 2014.
